The half-hour flight begins at the old airport in the city of Ushuaia, where the Aeroclub is located, just a 10-minute walk from the center of the city of Ushuaia.
Upon arrival at the Aeroclub, you will be greeted by one of our pilots who will provide you with all the information regarding the flight that will take place, as well as provide you with safety information.
When everything is ready, you will board one of our eight aircraft, which will have been previously selected by the pilot to best meet your needs. All our aircraft are in perfect condition of maintenance, meeting the most demanding standards in this area.
After takeoff, you will ascend to an average altitude of 1,500 feet, which is approximately 450 meters, while flying over Ushuaia Bay and the city. In this first stage, you will be able to see the most notable buildings in the city, the Andes Mountains and the famous Le Martial Glacier.
A 180º turn is made to fly over the Beagle Channel heading east. You can see the imposing Chilean Hoste Island, the Murray Channel, Navarino Island, and Puerto de Navarino. The islets that make up the Bridges Islands are flown over, contemplating the Islas Malvinas International Airport, the Isla de los Lobos, the Isla de los Pájaros, and most importantly: the enigmatic and solitary Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse.
Already in the final stage of our flight, we leave the lighthouse area behind to fly over Estancia Túnel as we return to Ushuaia Bay, where we fly down over the city and then land at the Old Airport. It is at this precise moment when you have the best views of the center of the city of Ushuaia from above.
