We set sail from the local tourist dock, touring the wide Ushuaia Bay until reaching the Beagle Channel through Paso Chico
There we will sail around the Isla de los Pájaros where we will be able to appreciate the Tierra del Fuego birdlife. We will observe: Skuas, Black-browed Albatrosses, Steamer Ducks, Cauquenes, Kelp Gulls and Grey Gulls. Then, we will approach the Isla de los Lobos where we will be able to observe one- and two-haired sea lions. Both islands belong to the Bridges Archipelago.
Upon reaching the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, we will be able to see the colonies of Imperial Cormorants and Rock Cormorants while listening to the story of the sinking of the SS Monte Cervantes in 1930.
This cruise includes a descent to Puerto Karelo, part of the Bridges Islands, where you can visit genuine Yámanas shell middens. This guided walk lasts approximately 20 minutes and brings us to a panoramic point where you can take some great photos.
At the end of the journey, you will be amazed by the view of the mountain range that surrounds the city of Ushuaia and its sumptuous nature. The route we take is full of historical value and, of course, landscapes. We visit really interesting places that you should not miss the opportunity to see. All this and more can be found sailing with Canoero Catamaranes through the Beagle Channel.
